Scout privacy policy.

Effective October 9, 2026

Scout: AI App Finder is an independent app discovery guide provided by Andrew Agus. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Scout and its support pages.

Information in the app

Scout does not require an account or ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or AI conversations. The app does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics SDKs, and it does not send your browsing activity to us.

Data stored on your device

Scout stores simple counts of interactions, such as category selections, viewing app details, and opening links, in local app storage on your device. These counts are not sent to us or shared with advertisers. Deleting Scout from your device removes its local app data; offloading the app may preserve it.

Links to other services

When you open an App Store listing or an external website, Apple or that service handles information under its own privacy policy. Scout does not receive your prompts, account details, payments, or activity within those services. Review their policies before using them.

Support emails

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your request and troubleshoot issues. Our email provider processes these messages to deliver and store them. We do not sell support information or use it for advertising. We retain correspondence as needed to handle the request and related follow-up, or as required by law. You can email us to request deletion.

This website

These Scout support and privacy pages do not use analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or cookies set by us. Our hosting provider, Netlify, may process technical request data such as IP addresses and browser information to deliver and secure the website. See Netlify’s privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its effective date if Scout’s data practices change.
